After many brainstorming sessions, ranging from ideas about educating Navajo youth on tribal water issues to exploring water law to exposing the corporate misuse and overconsumption of water, Mia realized that the topics she was interested in were far too great to address in isolated parts. Instead, she chose to weave these perspectives together to highlight the deeper, interconnected challenges facing Indigenous communities, such as the lasting impacts of colonization and the ongoing lack of representation.
