Meet FLC students, alumni, and faculty working in water
Keana Kaleikini is a Water Warrior, a scientist, a community organizer, and a Fort Lewis College alumna. Prepared by Fort Lewis College for her expansive career, Kaleikini brings her skills and expertise to bear on the water accessibility issues facing the Southwest.
For Melissa Clutter, Assistant Professor of Geosciences, water is not just something that comes out of the tap—it’s life. A Fort Lewis College alumna, Clutter works in the field of hydrology to make her findings in the field community-based, practical, and relevant.
Ryan T. Barton (Environmental Biology, '13) solves large, multifaceted puzzles out in the field. As a hydrologist for the Navajo Nation Department of Water Resources, Barton works tirelessly to both protect and provide access to clean, drinkable water for members of the Navajo Nation.
